The community of Dorchester is surrounded by green space, nine beautiful trails and the stunning Pine Knot Golf & Country Club. As the Thames River flows through town, there are many picturesque spots for walking, hiking and biking. Your family will enjoy spotting the birds and wildlife while exploring, canoeing, fishing or snowshoeing. Local schools are part of the Thames Valley District School Board or the London District Catholic School Board. Students from JK through grade three attend River Heights and move to Northdale Central for grades four to eight. St. David’s Catholic School offers classes from JK - grade 8. Lord Dorchester Secondary School houses students in grade 9 - 12. A number of London schools extend boundaries to provide French Immersion programs. Prior to starting school, there are six licensed and unlicensed daycares in Dorchester.
